| William Lenihan and Jay Oliver conducted early musical experiments back in 1997, using a
specialized music form called "Ambient Music." Originally, their research focused on using low-
frequency sound/music for purposes of relaxation, healing and transformation for all ages - and not
specific to babies. However, they found that babies within earshot of this music were easily lulled
to sleep. This discovery led to further research and development. A team was assembled, including engineers, baby experts and pediatricians. They studied and analyzed the sounds of the womb and the details of audio properties as they exist underwater. After years of testing, trials and further research, they launched the breakthrough Baby Sleep System CD in 2004.
