A study in the March 1 issue of the journal SLEEP suggests the presence of an intrinsic sleep problem specific to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and supports the idea that children with ADHD may be chronically sleep deprived and have abnormal REM sleep.

The latest research suggests that a baby's sleep problems can often be traced back to the parents, that too often, with the best of intentions, parents actually contribute to bad sleep habits. One common bedtime mistake is holding or rocking an infant.

Formerly the BabySleep System™ CD,
SoundSleep for Babies™ is a scientifically composed audio soundtrack, using actual womb recordings, digitally enhanced using a patent-pending process to replicate the sound underwater (as the baby experienced it in his/her prenatal world).

With its exceptional accuracy, SoundSleep allows babies to instantly recognize the sound of their former cozy and peaceful home, reminding them that they are SAFE. With this method, their fears are quickly calmed, and they can stop crying - often on the spot - and then fall asleep naturally.

"If you can, take stock in this company. Harlequin was
crying and nothing was helping, (food, burping, walking,
diapers etc.) so we put in the Sound Sleep for Babies CD, and -
I'm not exaggerating - within 10 seconds she was completely
calm and falling asleep. It was absolutely astounding."

—Michelle Manafy, Editor of EContent & Intranets Online

This is NOT a Lullaby CD.
Instead, SoundSleep is based on advanced medical, scientific and audio research and is produced by internationally-acclaimed award-winning musicians, producers and audio engineers - the same people who created songs and productions for industry giants like Sheryl Crow and The Eagles.

SoundSleep for Babies uses the patent-pending WombEffect™ technology, combined with a proprietary lush, ambient low-frequency soundtrack.

The result is a profound sense of calm so soothing that it can
relax and de-stress even the most chaotic of environments.

"I had to share this with everyone because I'm so amazed it works. For what it's worth, I'm not a salesman, just a desperate parent! I had to go back to work this week, and last night I just started crying because the situation was untenable for all of us. This morning, I downloaded the SoundSmart mp3, put it on right by her crib and put her down. Of course, she started crying — really loud. But I waited in the other room, determined to give it at least the five minutes. At minute four, it was totally quiet. Of course, I rushed in to make sure she was still breathing. She was! Fast asleep! This is a baby who would NEVER sleep without being swaddled and binkied, and who is a determined crier!"
—Jan S., Baby Center.com Forums

"I loved it. I play it in the morning as the children are arriving - It brings a calm over the center and makes it a relaxing atmosphere."

—Jana F., QualityCare for Kids, Novato, CA

"To be honest, I've never heard anything like it - we just don't want to turn it off! It literally calms the whole family down, and actually brings us together in a really nice way. You outta market this as medicine and therapy! The baby is happier, and we're ALL happier."
—Tracey N., Brooklyn, NY

"My grandson, who is now 10 months old, has been using the BabySleep System CD since his first day of life. He slept through the night at 12 days of age from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. The CD plays continously through the night and while he naps. If for some reason the CD does not get turned on, his sleep is not as sound or as long. Awesome product!!"
—Karen F., Boise, ID

"To tell you the truth I was doubtful but pleased to find it was great for the children to relax. It's wonderful for the children. Thank you."
—Jan T., California Young World, Sunnyvale, CA

"We were given this CD and were thrilled when it worked. Our 13 month old was having sleep problems and we were dealing with 4 or 5 night waking's every night. She is now sleeping through the night and when she does wake up it takes seconds to soothe her."
—Michele H., Portland, OR

"Having a newborn with Reflux is a challenge. Your CD definitely helps in getting my little monster to sleep. Once down he is in heaven. Thanks for a great product."
—Mark S., Los Angeles, CA
